Userlist helps SaaS companies send the right message at the right time — onboarding sequences, behavior-based emails, and segmentation based on how customers actually use the product, not just generic email blasts. Co-founded by Jane Portman, Benedikt Deicke, and Claire Suellentrop in 2017, Userlist set an early goal of reaching $5,000 MRR within six months — a target that ended up taking over three years to hit in a crowded, competitive market.
