Castos is a podcast hosting platform that also converts video content into podcast episodes automatically, with built-in transcription, analytics, and a WordPress plugin used by tens of thousands of shows. Founder Craig Hewitt started out running PodcastMotor, a productized podcast editing service, before acquiring a WordPress plugin and turning it into the foundation for Castos as a SaaS product. Now a profitable, bootstrapped business with a team spread across the world, Castos generates several million dollars in annual revenue, with the SaaS product making up the majority of that total.
